Sparring/Self-Defense Program

Sparring and Self-defense classes are based on the art of Chinese kick boxing, also known as Sanda or Sanshou. Students who participate in the adult Kung Fu program are welcome to attend the Sparring and Self-defense classes as part of their regular enrollment. In Sparring and Self-defense classes, students not only learn fighting stances, maneuvers and techniques, but have the opportunity to don equipment and face off against each other in timed bouts. Sparring and Self-defense classes place heavy emphasis on physical conditioning, so students can expect a tough workout during every session.
